Gulf States PGA
The Gulf States Section, Professional Golfers’ Association of America, is an association of golf professionals whose mission is to promote interest, participation, and enjoyment in the game of golf; establish and maintain professional standards of practice; and enhance the well being of golf professionals.
The Mississippi State University PGA Golf Management is affiliated with Gulf States PGA and partners with the Section to offer a variety of experiences and networking opportunities to students. The Gulf States PGA is one of 41 PGA Sections in the United States and covers the states of Mississippi and Louisiana. The Section has 272 PGA members, 40 apprentices, 370 facilities and coordinates 28 tournaments annually.
